
Aluminum alloys inherently possess corrosion resistance, requiring no additional anti-corrosion coatings (or only simple treatment). They withstand corrosive environments in the petrochemical industry, including acidic and alkaline media, humid vapors, and marine atmospheres, with a service life exceeding 30 years—significantly longer than traditional steel structures (which require regular anti-corrosion maintenance).

Aluminum alloy has a density only one-third that of steel. At equivalent strength, it significantly reduces structural self-weight, thereby decreasing the load-bearing pressure on lower structures such as storage tanks and foundations and lowering foundation engineering costs. Simultaneously, its lightweight properties facilitate transportation and hoisting, reducing construction energy consumption.

The space frame structure distributes loads through spatial grid collaboration, enabling spans of 30-80 meters without intermediate columns. This provides ample unobstructed space for petrochemical equipment installation, maintenance, and material storage, while accommodating various irregular layouts.

Components are prefabricated in factories with high precision and controllable quality. On-site assembly utilizes bolted connections, eliminating welding (or requiring minimal welding). The construction cycle is only 1/2 to 2/3 of traditional steel structures, minimizing disruption to normal production at petrochemical plants and accelerating project commissioning.

Aluminum alloy is 100% recyclable, meeting the petrochemical industry's requirements for green and low-carbon development. Its structural thermal insulation properties outperform steel, reducing energy consumption in industrial buildings and storage tanks. With no welding pollution, the construction process is more environmentally friendly.
